Create a pretty vintage tag using Mixed Up Printables.
I love anything vintage! I collect old ephemera and postcards and that’s where our range of Printables came from – I began scanning my collection for personal use and it grew from there. I’ve created a special sheet of images for this class, which is available in our Printables store.
This tag is easy and relaxing to make, and you don’t need much in the way of supplies. As well as the Printables, we’re making use of recycled and found materials like cardboard, book paper, scraps of trim, and sewing thread to add texture and interest. I’ve included some flowers to embellish my tag and I’ve dyed them to match my project using spray inks. I pretty much only ever buy white flowers which I colour to co-ordinate – saves pennies and frustration!
I hope you enjoy this project and have a go at making your own vintage tag. If you’re not into tags, this collage arrangement would work for a small canvas or a journal page too!

Meet the Tutor
Katy is the founder of Mixed Up Creative. She loves to teach and share her knowledge with fellow creative types. Her style varies – you could say it’s rather eclectic – but vintage is definitely one of her passions. She has a bit of an obsession with all things Victorian, which probably feeds her penchant for the shabby, decayed and dusty!
