Terms of Supply This page tells you the terms on which we supply any of the products listed on this website (our site) to you. Please read these terms of supply carefully before ordering any products. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these terms, you will not be able to order any products from us. We have the right to revise and amend these terms of supply from time to time. You will be subject to the policies and terms supply in force at the time that you order products from us.
Purchase Terms Access to the products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the products. You will be granted lifetime access to your purchase, meaning that you can continue to have access to the product for as long as Artful Academy (formerly Mixed Up Creative Academy) continues to trade. We reserve the right to cancel accounts which have not been accessed for over 12 months, if required for housekeeping or data security reasons. You will lose access to your purchases if you: remove your account from the site, or are removed by the site admin for misconduct or misuse of the site or our products.
All our products are designed for adults who should exercise the usual cautions they normally do when crafting and read the directions on product packaging in order to follow them accordingly.. As items such as craft knives, heat tools, scissors, mediums and paints are commonly used throughout our content we intend them for the use of adults only.
Consumer rights and cancellation Digital products do not fall within the ‘cooling off’ 7 day period required under UK Law. If you change your mind after purchase, you are not entitled to a refund – this is because you will get instant access to the content and the downloadable resources. As instant access is granted upon payment, all purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Product kits: Kits and other physical goods are covered in law by a 7 day ‘cooling off’ period. We supply some kits and some are supplied by our partners. You have a right to cancel an order seven working days from the day after you receive your goods. Where kits are provided by a partner, this will be clearly stated at point of sale. Where you purchase third-party kits provided by our partners, this transaction is between you and the third-party supplier, and will be covered in their own terms and conditions of sale and Artful Academy cannot get involved in any discussions regarding third-party kits.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an Order Confirmation. It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. If the correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to provide any Product or Event to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an Order Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an error. Contracts and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English law. Any such dispute or claim will be subject to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Etiquette Our classes have a comments section so you can ask questions and make comments. We operate a zero tolerance policy on abusive or discriminatory comments or ‘trolling’ or unpleasantness towards others and anyone making such comments will be removed immediately without discussion. No refunds will be offered where members are removed for making such comments or for abusive or discriminatory behaviour. Your account will be terminated and you will no longer have access to any of your purchases and will not receive a refund. Some courses additionally have a student-only Facebook group. The same policy on etiquette applies to those Facebook groups.
