Do you get a little intimidated by paint? If that sounds like you, or if you just want to take your paints further, this workshop is a great way to ease into painting using your stamps to guide you.

Join Nicole Wright as she creates stunning chalkboard-effect journal pages using gesso and acrylic paints. Working on black can be intimidating, but with this technique you can create a beautiful pattern that is both subtle and striking – and easy to achieve even for the inexperienced painter. Working with familiar tools like paper, stencils and stamps, you will become more comfortable with creating painterly effects – even if you can’t draw anything freehand. Plus create a peek-a-boo cut out that adds interest to your journal, creating both mystery and an interactive element to your pages.
